On Monday, March 26th, 2012, Swab Barcelona was awarded by the ACCA for the Best Contemporary Iniciative in 2011. The director of the Fair, Joaquín Díez-Cascón, recieved the award presented by Violant Porcell. The ACCA decided to reward Swab Barcelona 2011 ” for the will to present in Barcelona a series of emerging artists from around the world and for establishing an active platform for the new generation of national and international art galleries”. In Swab Barcelona we are very grateful for this award that encourages us to continue working with enthusiasm in our project.
